As far as I know, what this does on my computer anyway, is I have to go in and make new shortcuts for my files that are now on G drive, my old drive, and everything works fine. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 is still on the original drive, but I installed Windows 7 Professional on my new drive and of course the new one being in the original bay defaulted into the C drive. I just got an SSD and put it in my DV7T that also has the i7. what I would do, having two drives, is swap them and install Windows 7 on the other one.
